Dress Code The “Cantate” rehearsal/performance dress code includes the
following guidelines: v
The singer’s mid-section should not be exposed
even when raising the hands over the head. v
All blouses and shirts should have a modest cut
that doesn’t even come close to exposing undergarments or cleavage. v
Tops should fit somewhat loosely; not skin tight. v
No sleeveless tops. v
Pants should sit comfortably, and not too tight,
at the natural waistline. v
Skirts or dresses should fall at or below the
knee and not be transparent or shear. Performance Attire
The
“Cantate!” performance “uniform” consists of black shoes and black pants with
a modest fit/cut that sits at the natural waistline. The ladies may wear
black pants or black skirts that fall at or below the knee. All
singers wear a solid, plain, brightly colored shirt of their choice. Nice
t-shirts, button downs, polos, or non-distracting ladies shirts are all
acceptable. Sleeveless shirts are NOT acceptable. Please be sure that
the singers’ stomach is not visible and that the shirt adequately overlaps
the waistband. The
only jewelry allowed is for ladies and it should be not draw attention. The young
men and boys will not wear earrings or any attention drawing jewelry. The
directors will have the final say if there are any questions in this area. |
